Sugar Mountain is annual single-day festival in Melbourne showcasing the best in contemporary music, visual art and new media, focusing on the natural meeting points between different mediums.
Above all, Sugar Mountain is a place for creativity to be absorbed and celebrated. The festival curators are determined to create an environment that is convivial and interactive, with performances and spaces that will remain with the audience long after the festival finale.
In 2018, Sugar Mountain returns to its home at Victorian College of the Arts, this year also encompassing the neighbouring ACCA and Melbourne Arts Precinct.
Sugar Mountain 2018 brings together a diverse, boundary-pushing musical offering featuring international game-changers alongside Australian favourites.
As always, the festival will also bring together an array of stunning visual artists, featuring unique collaborations and performances.
