Throughout its history Adelaide Festival has shared Australia’s best new work along with some of the world’s great companies and international artists including Sylvie Guillem, John Zorn, Marlene Dietrich, Allen Ginsberg, James Thiérrée, Philip Glass, Isabelle Huppert, Schaubühne Berlin, Yehudi Menuhin, Isabella Rossellini, Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, Nina Simone, Jane Birkin and Malcolm McLaren.

TECTONICS ADELAIDE 2016

Tectonics Adelaide curated and conducted by Ilan Volkov featuring the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. Classical meets abstract sound-art in fruitful festival collision.

Full program announced 

Acclaimed conductor and curator Ilan Volkov returns with a spectacular new two-day Tectonics Adelaide program. The first night, Volkov, with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, showcases new orchestral works with a stunning array of collaborators. Day two sees luminaries including Phill Niblock and others unite with new ensembles to premiere experimental electronic, chamber and a cappella work.
